Water Supply to School toilets constructed under SVA
Project Description
:
Under the SVA program, 479 toilet blocks were constructed in 227 schools of Koraput, Angul, Visakhapatnam & Bhubaneswar. But, most are not being used due to the unavailability of water. With the realization that construction of toilets can never promote sanitation unless it is supplied with water for making the toilet functional and hygienic, the Company surveyed and assessed the needs of all the intervened schools and Water supply systems are established in 54 schools of Angul.
