In todays competitive scenario, it is imperative to have proficiency in computers and English. In its attempt to make rural youths computer and English literate, Tata Steel in partnership with NIIT Foundation is running six training centres in Odishafour in Kalinganagar and one each in Joda and Gopalpur. The computer course certificate Course in IT for Beginners (CCIB)is of six-months, whereas the English course English for Life (EFL)lasts for three-months. Candidates completing the courses receive certificates from NIIT.
