Project Description
:
Installed CAD/CAM (Computer aided Design and Manufacturing) system in the department of Prosthetics and Orthotics from the Swami Vivekananda National Institute of Rehabilitation, Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), Cuttack. SVNIRTAR is a premiere institute operating under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The department of Prosthetics and Orthotics serves the person with locomotors disability. The students at the Institute will also get trained in handling this scientific marvel. It has replaced plaster work with a digital solution with more accuracy, safety and comfort to the patients and in a fast and cost effective manner. The System is first of its kind in the Nation.
