Project Description
:
Under the umbrella of the National Swachh Sanitation Mission, 535 toilets and 15 bore wells were proposed to be constructed benefiting 1986 population approximately within 4 villages. Open defecation, no doubt, pose enormous possibility of exposing human to diseases and other health and security issues especially to the female. Hence, the GoI has initiated several programs to make the whole nation Open Defecation free. The project aims to improve the health condition of the intervened villages by providing/ creating healthy and hygienic condition in the villages and the projects also aims to cater this need of the country by implementing it in 4 periphery villages where M& R complex is operating.
