Project Description
:
Distribution of assistive devices to 220 persons with disability from Damanjodi through Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) As per the 2011 Census, the population of persons Including persons. Disables with Locomotive, visual, hearing, speech and mental disabilities constitute 2.21 of the total population of India as per Census 2011. Around 70 of the disables belong to the rural areas among the total group. Out of them, 51 are illiterate and 66 are unemployed.
