FAO suggests 200 gm/ adult vegetable consumption, while In India the average consumption of vegetables is 86 gm/ adult, which leads to malnourishment and death. The diet generally lacks protein, vitamin, iodine and other micro nutrients. Looking at the scenarioTSRDShas planned to go for nutritional gardens which will be completely organic. In FY 19, the Empowerment team ofTSRDS,Kalinganagarhasorganisedfour trainings on kitchen garden inDakhinaposhi,Ranagundi,Gandasahi,Sansilo,GobarghatiandSuliavillages.
