Tata Steel Ltd (TSL) CSR works to empower the rural and indigenous communities in and around Tata Steels areas of operation. It was realised that access to enhancement of IT skills and Spoken English was difficult for the rural comunity, specially for aspirant youth, in the area. So Tata Steel Ltd(TSL) CSR began Tata Steel Skill Development Centres in its operational area partnership with NIIT. Each Skill center has 1 IT faculty, 1 English Faculty. One Cluster Manager directly manages the faculty of all centers. The students who clear the assessment for these courses will be awarded NIIT group certificate.
