: Womens Day is celebrated every year in the month of March in Kalinganagar and this year we are planning to celebrate International Womens Day on the theme choose to challenge with our women at Ashokjhar, Sukinda on 08th March,2021. Keeping the theme in mind we have come up with an idea to go outdoor and engage our active women in team building exercices instead of some indoor session. This day will be also celebrated remembering womens contributions during COVID 19 pandemic towards their community. Kalinganagar Mountaineering Group has been newly registered in Kalinganagar with some really enthusiastic youth who will be taking charge to bring the same enthusiasm, confidence and team spirit in the women.The women have contributed a lot during the pandemic in helping their community but due to lockdown we could not connect to them physically for any appreciation or motivation. International womens Day 2021 theme is choose to challenge, these women have come out of their home and challenged the pandemic condition and have been our direct contact person throughout. This event will help us celebrate womenhood with these leaders who are representatives of their community."
