On 03/05/2019, the devastating Cyclone Fani damaged almost all the structures and works undertaken by Company to give Puri its iconic status on the direction of GoI. To bring back the beauty of the religious city an inspection has been made by the management and found many restoration works which needs to be carried out immediatelyTo make the park a major tourist attraction, efforts had been taken towards maintenance & beautification of the Gandhi Park and sites near to sea area. Most of the electrical arrangements with light posts got damaged badly hence restoring and repairing jobs including repair of RO Water Post its structural repairements were undertaken
