Measures to Combat Covid19
Project Description
:
As a part of its constant endeavor to serve the community in this crisis situation while fighting the Covid19, the Grasim Industries Ltd GIL at Ganjam, has taken adequate measures to combat Covid19. Untied with pandemonium situation, the emergency team formed at Grasim, Ganjam, acted promptly to ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of the local people around peripheral communities including workmen and their families by connecting with clear massages, restricting large gatherings, complying with Govt. procedures, supply of essential commodities such as Sodium HYPO for disinfecting the public places 4 Metric Ton provided freely for disinfection in the Ganjam vicinity and provide free nose masks 5000 numbers and Hand sanitizer, etc. to the Medical Staff, Police staff, Anganwadi workers and Govt. machinery who work relentlessly. 1 sodium hypochlorite about 12 Metric tons has been freely provided to the District Administration for spraying in public places for disinfectant from deadly viruses. During this period, around 10 Notified Area Councils and One Municipality Berhampur has sprayed with sodium HYPO with the help of the Fire Officer of the district, which covered around 1.5 lack population. The 20 bedded Isolation cum COVID Care Centre has been set up at our New Agriculture Training Centre to accommodate the symptomatic and asymptomatic persons found in the areas. This CCC is well equipped with equipment as per the guideline of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Odisha and Ambulance services. During this period, our volunteers screened the health checkup of the families with the help of Thermal guns and distributed the Dos Donts orders instructions guidelines issued by Govt. of India and the State Governments during the lockdown. The families are being council on social distancing and hand washing.
