Support for Livelihood & Socio-Economic Standard Improvement during FY 2022-23
Project Description
:
To ensure sustainable livelihood and create employability and to promote skill-based enterprise development activities for the benefit of rural unemployed female youths, provided 10 nos of sewing machines and 2 nos of inter-lock machines to local ladies engaged in the Garment Production Unit established at Rajgangpur. Similarly, to develop and strengthen the skills, abilities, processes and resources that SHGs need to survive, adapt, and succeed in a fast-changing world, we conducted a total of 19 days training Programme in different period where 628 SHG members participated from 57 groups. To bring eco-friendly options to eliminate plastic goods and with an objective to raise employment opportunities for unemployed female youth, we conducted three-month training programme as well as establishing a production and Sales center at Lanjiberna Area, where 53 trainees trained in two phases. To engaged deeply in meaningful welfare initiatives in communities living in proximity of its mines area, Lanjiberna, supported capital assets to Ujibika Producer Group having 60 female members, engaged in Tie & Dye on Batik Print activity. Focusing to women empowerment, established community-based stitching center where 36 nos women are successfully completed the training program by acquiring new stitching skills to have a sustainable income in near future.
