Health Care activities conducted by MHU-Some important point describe in below this line about Mobile Health Care Unit works in Villages.1.Curative and PreventiveTreatment of minor ailmentsReferral of complicated casesEarly detection of TB, Malaria and other locally endemic communicable & non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes & cataract cases. Minor surgical procedure &suturing.Conduct awareness programs on various diseases and informing about its diagnosis. 2.Reproductive & Child Health ServicesAntenatal check up & related services e.g. Hemoglobin test, Sugar test & referral of other test as may be required.Referral of complicated pregnanciesPromotion of institutional Services Immunization (to be coordinated with local Sub center & PHC)Treatment of childhood illnessPostnatal check up3.Family planning ServicesCounseling for spacing & permanent method4.Diagnostic ServicesInvestigation facilities like hemoglobin and sugar. Rapid Diagnostic Kit (RDK) test for MalariaFixation of slide for diagnosis of TB5.Capacity buildingTo discuss about various improvements works with the people in the villages and to create unit among the people.
