Tata Steel Foundation offers Jyoti Fellowship to meritorious students from economically backward Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe families to enable them to accomplish educational and career aspirations. We identify the deserving candidates from operational areas of the company based on merit test and marks obtained in minimum eligibility exam for that course. Structured to cater to high school, intermediate, under-graduate and post-graduate students from the economically backward SC/ST families, the fund obligated by the company has increased over the years.
