Project Description
:
Tribal language and Literature is an integral part of tribal identity. Promoting tribal culture is one of the major concern ofTata Steel Foundation and the Kalinganagar proximate areas are more of tribal dominant communities and rappidly movingtowards the mordern living society. Looking to this it is invitable to work on the tribal language & preserve its culture for theupcoming generations. Government of Odisha has been Working towards the preservation and promotion of triballanguage ,script and literature of Santhal , HO and its script. In the year 2014 Tata Steel Foundation, Kalinganagar hasstarted tribal script learning at 13 gram panchayat of Gobarghati, Chandia, Nadiabhanga, Ranagundi, Salijanga, Trijanga,Gobardhanpur,Lemboo, Pankapal, Chitri, Sarangapur , Sansailo, Chandama, of Sukinda & Danagadi block respectively.
