Project Description
:
The Tata Steel Foundations Sukinda Unit operates both static clinics and a new Mobile Public Health Unit (MPHU) to address the lack of accessible public health care in the remote Sukinda area. Serving approximately 28,419 people from the Ransol, Kaliapani, Kanasa, and Chingudipal GPs, these initiatives provide comprehensive primary health care services, including preventive, promotive, and curative care, alongside basic laboratory investigations and behavior change communication (BCC). The MPHU specifically targets marginalized communities in remote locations, ensuring that even those in hard-to-reach areas receive necessary healthcare.
