Project Description
:
The Thousand Schools Project was the first endeavor of ESP initiated in January 2015 with the goal of universalization of education as outlined under the Right to Education Act. The projects goal was to create a model of Universalisation of Elementary Education (UEE) within the Right to Education framework that is both replicable & scalable. It has 3 main pillars i.e. Access, Learning, and Governance. Our efforts in access aim to improve school accessibility for every child through initiatives such as NRBC, RBC, and Direct Enrollment. Sundergarh is categorized as an Educationally Backward Block and is home to a significant number of out-of-school children who are unfortunately engaged in child labor.
