Solar street lights are important in providing safety and promoting security in remote areas that dont have access to a conventional electrical grid. They improve the safety of drivers and pedestrians who drive or walk past the daylight hours. As part of its initiative to promote inclusive growth in the region Tata Steel Foundation took initiative to installed solar streetlight for the community.
