Since 2017 Sabal has been instrumental in creating a conducive environment for effective participation of person with disabilities in socio-economical aspect of life. The disability initiative emerged from SABAL centre to larger disability related intervention of Tata Steel Foundation. Apart from the SABAL centre at Noamundi, Sukinda and Jamshedpur several activities continuously take place like, SABAL Awards, SABAL Saathi, SABAL Day out and other workshops
