Project Description
:
NALCO successfully implemented a community-driven initiative to enhance the learning environment across high schools in Ganjam District. The project strengthened physical infrastructure, upgraded classrooms, improved sanitation and drinking water facilities, and introduced digital learning and sports amenities to create safe and student-friendly campuses.A notable achievement of the initiative was the active involvement of School Management Committees, parents, teachers, and local community members, ensuring shared ownership and long-term sustainability. Capacity-building sessions and periodic reviews contributed to improved academic engagement, higher attendance, and better educational outcomes, particularly for girls and students from marginalised groups.Through this collaborative effort, NALCO has helped transform high schools into vibrant and motivating spaces that support holistic development and contribute to the overall progress of the region.
