Project Description
:
NALCO provided financial assistance to Shree Ramakrishna Ashram, Kalahandi, for the construction of an English Medium School integrated with a hostel facility. The initiative aimed to expand access to quality education for children from remote and underprivileged communities in the region. The support facilitated the development of essential infrastructure, including classrooms, learning spaces, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for students who lack access to schooling due to geographical and socio-economic barriers. The new campus is designed to promote holistic learning, character building, and academic excellence in line with the Ashrams long-standing commitment to community service. This intervention has strengthened educational opportunities in Kalahandi and contributed to long-term empowerment of rural children through improved access to modern education and secure hostel accommodation.
