Project Description
:
Operation of a battery-operated vehicle service between Jagannath Ballav Matha and the Shri Jagannath Temple, Puri, to facilitate smooth, eco-friendly transportation for pilgrims. The initiative enabled safer and more comfortable mobility for elderly devotees, persons with disabilities, and visitors requiring assisted transport.The service improved last-mile connectivity, reduced congestion near the temple precinct, and promoted the use of clean energy in a high-traffic devotional corridor. It contributed to enhancing the overall pilgrim experience while supporting environmental sustainability. Through this intervention, NALCO demonstrated its commitment to heritage support, green mobility, and improved public convenience in one of Odishas most important cultural and spiritual centers.
