Project Description
:
The Mobile Cancer Screening Unit (mCSU) Initiative in Kalinganagar, Odisha, is a collaborative project of Tata Steel Foundation and Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital aimed at early detection of oral, breast, and cervical cancers. Through community awareness, healthcare worker training, monthly screening camps, diagnostic referrals, and treatment linkage, the program seeks to improve cancer outcomes and reduce cancer-related mortality in underserved rural populations from December 2025 to March 2028.
