25 seat rural BPO in Odisha is one of its kind in rural Odisha and would mark the entry of Information Technology enabled Services (ITeS) in the KBK region and more so as an innovative CSR. It is an endeavour to create economic independence through meaningful employment for the youth of Lanjigarh. By providing customized training, this programme aims to be a catalyst for social change and community development by creating jobs for local youth, especially for women. Lanjigarh has very limited job opportunities and especially so for women. It is also an uncommon sight to watch women from the villages go to work in white collar jobs. The programme aims to break this anomaly by creating opportunities for these youths and women to learn, grow, achieve financial and social freedom, and earn renewed respect from the community. The community would directly and tangibly experience the benefits of the CSR. The youths would get trained/skilled in a specific period of time and get access to gainful employment and self-employment facilities.
