Project Description
:
Project Jagruti Employer Led Model (ELM) on HIV/AIDS prevention is one of the unique project by Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda. HIV/AIDS has been found as growing area of concern here as the migrant workers, the floating population, movement of large no. of trucks make our facility vulnerable towards HIV/AIDS. The daily footfall of trucks is around 1500 numbers. The Company has more than 3000 direct and 8000 indirect employee. Looking at the challenge a dedicated policy has been made to prevent and educate on HIV/AIDS, under the Vedanta Sustainability Framework.
