Thousand Schools Project FY 16-17
Project Description
:
The Thousand Schools Project is a contextualised program in alignment with the Right to Education Act (2009), being implemented in 1000 schools across the six blocks in Jajpur, Keonjhar and Sundargarh districts of Odisha where Tata Steel has its CSR operations. The project aims to build a strong base for education in these six blocks, and also present a model relevant to the rest of the State and the country as well. It is envisaged as a 5-year collaboration between the Government of Odisha, Tata Steel and ASPIRE, the implementation partner.
