Nutritional supplement is a basic need of every individual in their daily food consumption. This is primarily available abundantly from the green and fresh vegetable. But many of the families are deprived of the same as the vegetable costs high in the market. Backyard farming of vegetable may reduce this burden. In the rural areas, many of the families have some piece of land, which can be utilized for the same.However, many people do not go for it as they fail to purchase seeds/seedlings, manure and pesticides and apply all these in time. A minimal support in this regard and time consultation may help them to raise vegetables in their backyard.For this, we may take up widespread backyard vegetable cultivation in Kalyanpur, Kainchapur and Jagannathpur villages of our core area. It is estimated that 453 families are interested in it.
