Project Description
:
In order to promote the sports and games activity in this tribal dominated remote area SAI-HAL sports training center has been setup during July 2010. In-house training programme is being conducted in Football and Archery in collaboration with Sports Authority of India. The Division has been organizing sports tournaments ever year for promotion of sports in the field of Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball & Cricket among its adopted villages. Sports kits and Cash awards are being given to all participating teams. In addition to cash award Champions and Runners up trophies are presented to the concerned teams.Annual Sports Meet among the 11 adopted village school students is being organized every year to promote sports and games among adopted village schools.
